to have a mother like you
you loved me unconditionally

you gave up your freedom for me
you carried me for nine months
you breast fed me for two years
you gave me three wonderful siblings
when I was a baby on your back
we traveled to far away lands
you shed many tears when I lost my father, and your husband
But you were determined that I would have a better life
Yet when I came close to death you wished it were you
You prayed night and day next to my bed
What I can do for you will never compare
to a mother love for her child
You give complete love to me
I am blessed to have a mother like you
Your unrestricted love for me

All the physical and emotional pain that I feel sometimes
you are like a doctor who heals a patient
